Kenwood School District Parcel Tax Information

In June of 2022, voters in the Kenwood School District renewed the existing $52 per year Parcel Tax for a period effective July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2027.

The Parcel Tax is used to support academic excellence for Kenwood students, maintain quality STEM, art and music programs, continue to integrate modern technology into classrooms, and attract and retain high quality teachers.

65 and Over Exemption

As specified in the measure passed by voters, an exemption from the Parcel Tax is allowed for district residents ages 65 and over. The form linked below must be completed and returned to the address shown on the form to qualify for the exemption. The exemption will remain in force for the remaining years of the Parcel Tax.

Contiguous Parcel Abatement Application

Contiguous assessor parcels with only one dwelling can be considered as one economic unit for purposes of assessing the Kenwood School District Parcel Tax. Please complete the form linked below and return to the address shown on the form to have contiguous parcels taxed as one unit. Contiguous parcels with more than one dwelling do not qualify for this exemption.
